It's been a while since Google changed the layout of the top links on GMail page. At first it seemed that nobody really cared about. But then there were several topics on GMail's help forum. Sarah, Google Employee, answered that they did it not occasionally, but on purpose and it seems that they will not return the link as it was before. We now know that Google builds products and not platforms, but it is great that we can customize products the way we want it. Of course, any extension may stop working after Google will change some internal things, but it doesn't mean we shouldn't customize right here and right now.
So I made some more effort in extending my Reader is back extension and created new extension Custom Google Menu. It allows you to rearrange the links in a very easy manner: using drag-and-drop. Moreover, the extension supports both Opera and Chrome browsers.
Enjoy!
